HeadsUp Australia Inc. is a not-for-profit service specialising in headwear for women with hair loss and provides seed funding, support and training for community groups to open their own HeadsUp outlet.

We support all women - specialising in those with hair loss from chemotherapy, permanent alopecia, surgery and radiation - as well ladies with hair.

The trained volunteer team helps to sell a large variety of hats, turbans, berets, beanies, scarves and embellishments to cater for all personalities.  In a private environment the team assists ladies to style the headwear into a variety of ways as well as tying headscarves.

After beginning HeadsUp@Calvary (renamed as HeadsUp@Bruce Inc in April 2011) at Calvary Hospital in Bruce, ACT on 3rd February 2010, the service was officially launched on 23rd March 2010.   Since our humble origins in a shared office, HeadsUp@Bruce has grown at such a rate that we now have our own attractive retail space. Our new shop is located in the Lewisham Building - near the new ICU building in Calvary Hospital, Mary Potter Drive, Bruce ACT.  Click here to view a location map.

On 2nd December 2010 HeadsUp Australia Incorporated was created.  HeadsUp Australia’s role is to provide seed funding, support and training for any other community group who would like to open their own HeadsUp outlet.  Contact us for details.
